A Virtual Tour is one or more 360° panoramic images (panoramas) displayed within a suitable Plugin (like Apple Quicklime) or Player (like a Java Applet) in order to let the user feel like they are actually in a location. The user controls the Virtual Tour and can spin around, pan up and down an zoom in or out however and whenever they like.
Our Virtual Tours come in 2 flavours Java (what we use almost all of the time) or Quicklime. We mainly use Java as it is free, and most users already have it installed on their web browser by default. Quicktime tours need the user to have the Quicktime Plugin on their computer., although this can be downloaded for free.
Yes and No. While the technology is similar and the concept is undoubtedly the same, we like to think our Virtual Tours are better in execution, style, delivery and just about any other way. IPIX technology is/was the Virtual Tour product / technology from a single company.
Yes! Full Screen Virtual Tours are almost always displayed using the Quicktime Plugin as at is the smoothest at displaying tours of this size. If you think your users can cope with the larger download - generally broadband users only, then Full Screen tours can have a fantastic visual impact.

The cost is different for every job and discounts can be given for large orders, however as a rough guide a 5 location Virtual Tour starts at £500.
You have several different options. We can host the tour and interface on our servers and you can link to it from your existing website, or you can host the tour yourself and pop it open n a new window from your own site. The best option is often to embed the tour images directly onto you site, this can be done by ourselves or your existing website development company.
