Whatever your location, the process is generally the same:
Via email, telephone, or in person we discuss how many locations (panoramas) have to be captured for your Virtual Tour, what the costs will be, and what deadlines you may have for delivery. We also work out the best date and time of day for your photography and how we will access the location on the day. Once everything is agreed on, the work begins...
We visit your location (more than once if it is a large Virtual Tour, or if there are reasons why we cannot access everything in one day) and photograph each panoramic scene. Normally we would allow around 15 minutes on site at each location, however this can vary a lot (e.g. lighting conditions, unwanted people in the scene, change of equipment etc.). Images are checked on site, whenever possible, before we pack up for the day.
Each set of images is then 'stitched' together to produce single 360° image, cleaned up, touched up if necessary and optimised for display on the Web. This process normally takes longer then the photography element of the job, but the results certainly make it worthwhile. If there are any images we feel are not good enough, we come back and photograph them again (a very rare event!).
The 360° images are then packaged up with any additional elements into an web interface that compliments your existing website and either hosted online (by Infinite Tours) and linked to from your website, or delivered by CD Rom / DVD to be placed directly onto your site. Being website developers too, we can advise on all aspects of website and Virtual Tour integration.
At any time in the future you can give us a call, and we can add new locations into your Virtual Tour. Decorated a room? Simply swap the old version for the new one with the minimum of fuss (and cost). Revamped the website? We can change the style of the virtual tour to match.
